The Streets Of Buckhead in Atlanta
8/3/07 became groundbreaking day for the new ‘Streets of Buckhead‘ development project spearheaded by developer Ben Carter. Tentatively planned as a Madison Avenue / Rodeo Drive shopping district, I’ve heard it’ll also feature offices, hotels and condos.
I actually heard Ben Carter’s inspiration for this project stemmed from an early morning encounter leaving his office when he discovered gun shell casings near his car (leftover from the previous weekend).
What a welcome addition though. It’ll be amazing to watch this area be transformed over the next few years..
